[solved]summer banner (MotherDove)

Asalam Alaykum,

I wanted to make Cafe Muslimah have a summer theme. I had a vision in my head for a banner. The outline made of flowers so instead of the usual box you can see the petals sticking out, do you know what I mean? Like floral all the way around but not boxed , like real flowers. And Cafe Muslimah of course. Maybe in glitter and the title some classy font. I wanted it to be pastel colors but somewhere in it have this violet, pastel yellow and pastel pink. So it all goes together. Maybe some of the flower could have glitter, some could not. Same size as the usual ones. Hmm, not sure about what else but that. I just want a very spring-summer fresh feel to it.

InshaAllah sister I will do my best to help you. I understand about the flowers around the edge instead of the box.

Did you mean you want the text in pastel tones aswell?

Alaykum Salam, I am not sure what do you think? I do want the flowers and stuff pastel like the board and colors on it but if you think the text would look better darker then go for it :)..

I have a feeling pastel flowers and pastel text won't work together so inshaAllah the type should be darker.

I had a larger version to the one below and on my laptop it lookd good but on my pc it looked too big so I've edited it and left the size we are used to seeing.

Hope the design is to your liking sister. Let me know if there's something you're not happy with. I was thinking that the text may look better white, what do you think about that? This is if you think the purple text clashes with your current background.

AstagfurAllah Mabsoota I feel bad to even say this but its not exactaly what I had pictured in my head (I know thats my fault for not describing it well). I do like this though, so please ukti do not think I do not 'shy'. I will try to describe better and inshAllah maybe find some visuals as well..

I wanted the banner to be the same size, I think you could still use the basic white box to start with and then I wanted to like garland all the way around the box. Like the box had flower wrapped around it, you know? and petals sticking out made it not the basic box shape. Not so much actual looking flowers but kind of like the flowers I have on the forum (not those though) but that kind I mean, more cartoony I guess ya Allah not sure how to describe it, but like those in a way.I really LOVE the colors you chose for the flowers and I think they could even work if the box were a different size, its kind of smooched. I really think its the font. I do not like that font or color, I know you do not as well! Maybe you should choose the font, lol....

Thats not really what I like but it gives you an idea how I wanted it all the way around the box and garland like. But I did not want it to be so straight and standard.

I know I am making this hard bc its easier for a designer to just go with it and make their art (my dh always hates when people have to many ideas, lol)..

If I had a scanner (its still somewhere in boxes) I would make a sketch..

Ok what all I am saying is to hard and I can not make it on paper so just PLEASE make me a summer theme that matches my board the way that you want to. You have mashAllah great visuals and when I go with you I always come out pleased when I try to tell you well I just mess you and me up :(....

Oh yea you remember my 'gift' mashAllah I LOVED it got lots of compliments from it 'only if it matched 'hehe'....

I know this was long it was me talking to myself, ya allah sorry. JazakAllah khair for all your hard work sisters I know you have so much work in here (I saw some that made me cry little on you all woo). May Allah bless you for having the heart to help sisters all over just out of the kindness of your hearts, you will look the world over and not find people like that.

Okay sis, the link you gave me has helped me understand more. I just went to your fourm and the font I used looks terrible subhanAllah. The flowers are okay, but no, it's not a good banner. InshaAllah I'll try something else out. Bear with me..we'll get there inshaAllah.
