Ahh mashaAllah, that's really sweet!! Shout The colour scheme is lovely! I'm sure your mum will love it. It looks like a make up bag to me mashaAllah. So the flower on the front was done by your embroidery machine? So nice masha'Allah.

jazakAllah khair for sharing your work with us ukhti, we really love seeing your designs! Love

barakAllahu feeki dear sister! on the other side of the bag i have written mami (=mum) in a heart with the embroidery mashine, but it is soo long to upload the photos....
The next step inchAllah i want to learn is how to make my own graphics for the embroidery machine, because there is a usb stick where i can load designs and embroider them, but it is a bit technical and i have to take time for that. But when i'm ready inchAllah i will ask here in the forum in the request area for your lovely designs mashAllah!

dear sister Yusra,
mashallah- you didn't tell me about your nice and usefull sewing skills! I'm very impressed.Mashallah, really. A few years ago I felt highly motivated to learn how to sew. Okay, I've forced my DH to buy me a sewing machine and al-hamdulillah he did so. I wanted to start directly with sewing some pyjamas for my sons but than I realized how difficult it was in fact so I stopped very frustrated and never touched my sewing machine again. But now you've inspired me with your wonderful works.I will try to learn it again inshallah. You are right- it's very moneysaving and also a very satisfiying work.I would love to see new projects from you soon inshallah!

pinkteacup barakAllahu feeki sister Umm Yasin and Mabsoota, your words are motivating me to continue inchAllah !

Dear sister um Yasin, don't give up! It is so usefull to sew and so rewarding mashAllah!
Try to find a sewig class at the "Volkshochschule" and buy a "very easy" burda pattern, to me they seem to be the easiest to follow and the more appropraited to learn the basics. SEWING IS NOT DIFFICULT AT ALL!
Only: do not expect to have something finished in one hour, hh!

If you have questions, don't hesitate, i'll be here inchAllah!

MashaAllah!! Love the quilts! The colours work well. Thumbs Up This is a beautiful gift to give someone special. Quilts are such a treasure because they can be used over and over again and then passed down to other children inshaAllah. I love the effects to got with the embroidery machine mashaAllah and the bag is cute! Well done ukhti! Shout

Recently I've been falling in love with patchwork quilts. I would love to make one with old clothes, but it's a big project and I'm not sure if I should make a small one or a big one for a double bed. You see mashaAllah I have 5 children and they will each want one, so it's tricky, so maybe I should plan to make one for the double bed inshaAllah. But this is a distant goal of mine I hope to do one day inshallah ! I think quilts are very cosey, homey and charming, esp. when we use old clothes of the family in them, we can say, this was the shirt of so and so, this was the skirt of so and so, it's really a nice sentimental project mashaAllah. Love

jazakAllah khair oukhty Mabsoota!

I agree with you concerning the quilts! Plus it is a very cheap way to do crafts mashAllah, when you use old clothes as you said.

We are in springtimehollydays, so to occupie my kids we made this little poney
it is not perfect of corse, but it doesn't matter, i hope they have learned somthing by doing it (of course i did the main part hh!)
