Re: Felt Dolls
Masha Allah these dolls are beautiful.
What do you use for stuffing? I knitted an elephant, ball and teddy bear, and used old scraps of material to stuff the elephant and ball. Although the ball is quite firm, the elephant is a bit wobbly.
May Allah bless you with a success in the crafts fair Ameen

Re: Felt Dolls
MashaAllah they are very well made and I wouldn't know which one to choose from. You reminded me of the dolls that were 'costume dolls from around the world' - they were not rag-dolls but plastic dolls approx 6 inches high and were sold in a group. My favourite was always the native american one with her 'leather' clothes, with tiny beads.

Re: Felt Dolls
dear sisters.
I use polyester stuffing for the dolls. Example >> http://www.wool4less.co.uk/Phoenix-Toy-Stuffing-250g_A1KZPQ.aspx
You can usually find them at haberdashery shops. Failing that, you could always get an old or cheap cushion/pillow and use the stuffing from that, I've had to do that a few times. You may need to stuff it quite firmly to stop it from flopping about inshaAllah.
I know the dolls you mean sis Aisha. International dolls always seem to appeal to me, plus they're educational. I've made some more dolls which I need to upload, these are old stock. There's a new Japanese doll which I want to share with you too, based on the Japanese Kokeshi dolls. I also love the Babushka dolls. I'm hoping to make something similar but again, out of felt inshaAllah.
