The Problem Lies

Wow, it's been a long time since we've had a new topic in this section. Where's everybody at? ;)

Well, today I was just thinking about something and this came out....it took only a few minutes (maybe 3 at maximum, lol), but I thought I'd share...

The Problem Lies

The men say- , “Oh, the women of this time!”
And the women say- the Muslim man today,
Ha! What a joke,
And the parents say- look at this Ummah. Look at our children,
Look how they blindly follow the mirage of the Western culture,
And the children say- Look at this Ummah. Look at our parents,
So much culture mixed with Islam.
And the citizens say
And the leaders say….
And I say ,
The problem of this Ummah is not
Its leaders,
its scholars,
its women,
its men,
its girls and boys.
The problem,
It’s much more than that-
And its simpler than that-
It’s that its made up of people
just
like
Me.

"Let him who will move the world, first move himself".

My note- When we can each claim responsibility for the state of the Ummah, when we can stop pointing fingers, tsking at others and ignoring ourselves, when we can each focus on fixing ourselves, then the rest will follow and the Ummah will be stronger than before!
