Flower ( Very Simple Animation..)

Assalaamu'alaikum,
After reading Sister Zaza response on the thread "Experimenting with programs"..i became more curious about the animation by using photoshop. So i searched in google about it and found a simple tutorial to make simple animation by using photoshop

And then i tried to follow the instruction there..and finally i made a very simple animation..(cant make the pretty one like other Sisters made )
I was so happy when i saw the flower i made moving Alhamdulillah

for your response, it encourage me to take my time to search how to make to animation by using photoshop
(i only could make very simple..just exactly i followed the tutorial that i found..)

Oh don't worry dear sister - even i am confused sometimes - there won't be any rapped knuckles here. I have now made a new forum category for our budding artists to practice in called ''Budding Magnolias'' consisting of 2 forums - the Tutorials and templates - Recommend a Software'' forum and a new ''Graphics for Beginners'' forum into which i will move this topic inshaAllah.

When i found the new forum you made for beginners, i was like..."Here is my place! " Alhamdulillah

I am still strugling right now with my photoshop , I made the layers and got confuse with those "eye" things.. to make the layers visible or invisible, PLUS....when i tried to save the file as .gif ...it didnt work, no moving! ...(Right now having a break by login to Easel and Ink..). I will go back to my photoshop now and will try again insyaallah

Sister Ray what version of Photoshop are you using.

When I first started animations, I worked with numbers to avoid confusion Frame 1 with Layer 1 etc and I only worked with 3 Frames and layers now Alhamdulillah it is much easier.

Try it and let me know how it goes.

Long time i didn't enter the forum to see around because of the packing that i have been doing since we will be moving this coming monday insyaallah..
Buuuut...Alhamdulillah! i could finish my second animation , Sister Zaza jakallahukhairan for everything ! I have photoshop version 8.0 photoshopCS. I found the reason why i could not save my work into .gif (lol .....when i edit them in image ready i should have clicked "SAVE OPTIMIZED". First i clicked "SAVE" and it didnt give option to save the work on .gif. Until now i still curious how did i save my first animation (the flower moving)...because i still think that i didnt click "save optimized"
Alhamdulillah.....i am learning little by little and i found i will learn more when ever i get stuck

Sisters..i still confuse to decide how big the canvas (pixels) i should use when ever we want to make something. So what happened was i just "crop" the image when i found it was too big (the short cut way..). Besides that..i still can't manage each timing of the background or the text well yet.. plus still cant play with the colour to make the image looks attractive..

@Sister Khadijah --> ( i love to see the way you write the sentence by puting that blue smiley face with chair ). So it means the compliment was for sister Aisha and you will start to make too
