Re: My Graphics

Oh mashaAllah that abstract graphic is weirdly wonderful. I feel as if I'm about to walk into a black and white corridor and the square in the middle is a door leading to a new dimension, lol! Perhaps it leads into a world of colour...........

Nice work mashaAllah.

Re: My Graphics

Scratchboard Art
I’m sure most of you are familiar with this type of art. I remember as children, we used to make colourful backgrounds with crayons, apply black shoe polish over it and used a blunt knife, fork or spoon to scratch the surface to make lovely patterns.
Why black shoe polish and not paint I have no idea?
This was done in Photoshop using a similar technique. Colourful layers at the bottom and the topmost layer is black.
I used the eraser on this one.

Re: My Graphics

MashaAllah Zaza, those last two are awesome. Make more of them, you're definately showing a flair for this technique!

Re: My Graphics

very nice dear zaza mashaAllah. I love the luminescence of the second graphic in particular.

I remember the technique too, many moons ago in junior school. Would it have been poster-paint that was used perhaps?
Why black shoe polish and not paint I have no idea?
Maybe all of the paint was used on the shoes?

Re: My Graphics

We used black shoe polish. I think paint was expensive in those days.

Here's the last one I did a black and white.
Done in Photoshop using a Japanese custom shape.

Re: My Graphics

Both were done in Photoshop,
I used the same images and played around with the blending modes.
Ending up with two different graphics.

Re: My Graphics

I used these pictures of couscous and orange lentils.

After playing around with some Filters in Photoshop I ended up with this.

Re: My Graphics

This is a landscape I did in the Bryce 3D, sometimes last year.
This program is absolutely fantastic, but a bit difficult to learn,
I am still at the basics after a year.

Where theres a will theres a way

Enjoy
