My share of trial and error..

My first attempt using Jasc Animation:

mashAllah thats pretty good. I tried to use it and was to lazy to mess with it. I figured I better get good at the design first before I try to get all fancy. But mashAllah you got it first try..

Another one...I used palette knife on the 'sunset' pic that comes default with windows...and used the eraser to create it..



I cant seem to export it to another extension...it gets stuck

Masha Allah this is beautiful.

In the screenshot I noticed that the stencils is not greyed out so that means you can paste your stencils in the starter Edition too. Try it.

To save as in another format go to

File-Export As Image -chose Jpeg or gif etc

sis, how do I paste the stencils? In the Starter Edition, only the ruler stencil is available...when I created a stencil, and tried to access it from ArtRage, i could see my stencil, but it was disabled, saying I have to purchase in order to use it..

and for the tip...Insha Allah will do that from now on :)

If you included the stencil in the program folder and it still does not show then Insha Allah that means get the Full Edition.

I only got interested in ArtRage and stencils after I bought the full edition.

Anyway have fun with the Starter Edition, you can still do some great things with it.

wooooohoooooo!!! I downloaded the ArtRage Deluxe Edition from uTorrent!! and I get to add my Stencils in it!!!

this is one that I created in ArtRage..I had a background already created..used the palette knife in it...and then used the metallic paint with the dropping-like thing (dont know how else you call it )...and for a shadow effect, used a darker color with the paint roller...

Created the frame in TBrush Pro (a trial version, which gets over in 14 days starting today), and the text in Jasc:

can anyone tell me how to add a signature to the animated images? I tried via PhotoScape, but it wasnt animating then...it was like a still image..

Masha Allah sister you are making wonderful graphics using the different programs.

Is the ArtRage deluxe edition a freeware? Can you post the link for others who would like to get it?

I also tried the Twisted Brush 14 day trial version some time ago Masha Allah it is another lovely painting program.

What do you mean, do you want to animate your siggy as well as on the animated graphic?

I don't use Jasc so maybe I will need a few lessons from you and sister Nadia

sis Zaza - what I meant was I would like to know how to add my name (as a signature) on my animated paintings/images..I tried via Photoscape, but after adding my name on the bottom, it changes into a still picture rather than the animation it is...I hope I am making sense..

Lets take this one step at a time, I am not too familiar with Jascs but Insha Allah we are going to learn together.

Which program do you use to make your images and the text?

Do you have the text on a different layer?

For the images, I like TBrush better, and for the text, I use ArtWeaver..

Yes, I do add a layer for the text.

When you are doing your text in Artweaver, on a new layer do one with your signature.

If you don't what to animate your signature then you need to add it to the background picture, if you want to animate it, it needs it own layer.

I think in Jasc for each frame you need one image. I am not sure Insha Allah I will have a look at the tutorial sister Mabsoota did for sis Nadia.

Insha Allah I will download Jasc again as I reformatted my computer recently.

Maybe after Ramadan I will download the trial version of TwistedBrush and have some fun. It's a lovely program.

sis Nadia...if you uTorrent, then you can download the Deluxe version of ArtRage, and even a trial period of TBrush, and you can get Jasc Animation for free...I think I mentioned it in the previous page..
