backgrounds??

Asalam Alaykum,

Whats the difference between rastor, art media and vector backgrounds? Bc when I make a new image it always ask me which one I want. I always choose the rastor because I have no clue what they mean..

Art Media....I have no idea

A raster image is a collection of dots called pixels. Each pixel is a tiny colored square. When you try to change the image from a smaller size to one that is bigger, the image tends to get fuzzy. You will use the raster layer if you are using the picture tubes or paint brushes.

A vector image is a collection of connected lines and curves that produce objects. Usually the Pen Tool or Type (Text) are vector images. The image remains crisp and clear even one increases the size of the Image.

ok my dh told me this but I did not get it when he did now I get it thanks :).. So ukti Looli she does vector? I love her lines and stuff mashAllah..

oh and yes I use paintshop pro
