The Seerah of Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu 'Alayhi wa Sallam)

MashaAllah, this is going to be very useful for us inshaAllah. I was planning to start to teach the lives of Prophets and then the Seerah of Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wassalam inshaAllah, so we will be using the graphics inshaAllah.

I was just thinking if the graphics need to be a bit larger so that it can be used as slide show for the kids during story time etc. Just a thought....

I actually had two ideas when you mentioned that you were starting this thread..

1) To present the pictures like an illustration which the children can compile to make their own book, having big mountains etc in black and white that they can color. The most important part according to me is reinforcing the concept in children and it makes them proud when they have something that they have accomplished to show as a result, especially when they are later re-narrating the story.

2) When I saw your image, it got me thinking that it can be used as a storyboard, put together in ppt and displayed slide by slide as the teacher narrates the seerah. So any image size which will be descriptive enough for the slide will do.

Sorry, if I am being fussy, but just wanted to give an opinion.

Yes the size of these graphics can be used in a powerpoint presentation.

The graphic in black and white will need to be A4 size again. Am I correct?

I edited my post (3rd or 4th one) to include the coloring page.

Jazaki Allahu Khairan Sister Umm Kashifa for encouraging me along these lines.

Can you check the page for coloring for me, and tell me if that is what you had in mind.

Like I mentioned to you, I am a bit out of my league here and am seeking advice from you and our many sisters who have more knowledge and experience than me.

I can’t draw for the life of me and need to trace from images thus there are some signs of erasing. The more I try to correct mistakes, the more I need to erase lol. Insha Allah the children can color over those ugly parts.

Is this okay? You would need to print it out and let me know. It should print okay on an A4 size. I know you said it doesn’t have to be A4 but with a smaller size, I think the text will get blurred when you make the page bigger.

I’m very excited about this and wish to do it right or leave it to someone who is more capable and continue the way I have been doing in this thread.

I'm looking forward to the comments and suggestions from everyone.

The coloring image is great Sis, I think the Kabah though needs to be redesigned a bit. It looks too, sharp, if you know what I am saying. Otherwise the effort is great.

I amended the first coloring page as suggested by Sister Umm Kashifa. (reshaped the Kab'ah) Jazaki Allahu Khairan sister for the suggestion.

I edited the next post to include the 2nd coloring page.

I also edited the 1st post to include the Prophets’ Tree Graphic.

As always I'm looking forward to comments and suggestions from everyone.
