Re: My ArtRage Sceneries & Scenes
thank you for you replies.
well I used a reference image similar to this to get the general idea of what I wanted - I did not trace the image but used it in the colour pallette in the custom colour-picker option.
I could find the reference image if anyone is interested.

The BookRoom (a tribute to ArtRage & PhotoImpact)
I painted this mainly in ArtRage and using the PhotoImpact programme I imported some of my other pics into the main pic. You can see my Andalusian fountain through the door, blue flower, marigold and the pink rose.
I have several versions of the bookroom as I originally made it to advertise our book room forum in the Invitation to Paradise forum of IslamWay Sisters.

Underwater Scene - painted in ArtRage
I painted this a while ago in ArtRage and tried to get a sense of swimming underwater (near the shoreline and within my depth )

Same painting with some rays of sunshine piercing the water. The rays were painted using several rulers and the chalk tool.

Masha Allah I love all your paintings.
I still can’t get the texture that you get like the pathway in this painting. I have more luck with Artweaver
Still having fun with ArtRage but did not come up with anything worthwhile to share.

Re: My ArtRage Sceneries & Scenes
BarakAllahu feekum dear zaza and Looli
Dear zaza the path was made using glitter on the grit setting which I then spread with the pallette-knife. Also I made the size of the glitter smaller towards the gate and larger towards the bottom of the pic to try to get a sense of perspective though that didn't matter after I spread it all around with the pallette-knife.

Re: My ArtRage Sceneries & Scenes
Thank you for your comments dear sisters umm An-Nu'man and Umm Shuaib
This was done a while ago - The rocks underwater painted in oil and blurred with the pallette-knife, the water - just wavy lines drawn with the pencil on the maximum width and 75% angle. The rocks above the water added lastly with the oil paint.
Rocks in the water

Re: My ArtRage Sceneries & Scenes
I can't believe I haven't replied to this wonderful thread!
Okay, I think you've done an amazing job with this program subhanAllah. I love the Secret Garden, the textures are brilliant. I really want to be there right now! The underwater scenes are stunning and your last one is very interesting with the waves doing what they're doing mashaAllah.
I cannot get the same effects you do with this program, I can't seem to control the mouse well, I'm wondering if it has something to do with the arthiritis i have in my finger joints, or if I'm just hopeless, full stop, lol!
Anyway, keep them coming. Your paintings drift me off to other lands, worlds.... mashaAllah.

JazakiAllahu khairan dear sis Mabsoota
I can't believe that you haven't purchased a graphics tablet yet. Of course it is like holding a pen and so there is much more control - you can even write your name with one. I'll get the graphic I wrote for my siggy inshaAllah.
