Oh mashaAllah, what a beautliful place!! The valley's are so dramatic. I love the close up of the river. SubhanAllah you have some VERY steep streets, do people actually walk up and down them? It must keep them very fit! Anyway, I love the style of the houses too, and the place looks to clean!! pinkstar

I can't wait to see more of your interesting country inshaAllah.Shout pinkflower

Shout Mashallah the valley is beautiful. Is your whole country that pretty? How is it there for Muslims (if someone wanted to move there plane )?

The first pic is my favourite. Maybe sister Aisha or Mabsoota will be inspired to paint that.

I also liked the municipal chamber. That would also make a great painting or a puzzle. paintpallet

I really hope you post more pictures of your country inshallah.

it is absolutely stunning, and , bonus of all bonuses, I have noticed a satellite dish in only one pic. Refreshing (unless they all have sky box inside the home hehe )

Mashallah, it is seems such a lovely place to live. But how do you manage as the sole muslim ? are people nice?

As-Salaamu alaikum

You know, I have lived in the same neighborhood since I was born! Alhamdulillah When I was a child, there were only few houses, there weren't pavement on some streets... It's a nice place to live, my block is very calm, really.

zaza wrote:Seeing all these lovely pictures here my interest is revived again and I have been looking online for good digital camera but not something every difficult to understand.

Sis Zaza, when I was to buy my camera, I searched for better lens and more megapixels (mine is 7.1 and i'ts old alerady, comparing to the ones with more than 10 MP nowadays), read about the features, and if there would be any damage, the camera could be fixed here in Brazil (there are many imported cameras which don't have any warranty here in my country). And, the most important: the price!!!

Khadija wrote:I have noticed a satellite dish in only one pic. Refreshing (unless they all have sky box inside the home )

hehe hehe hehe My town is a satellite dish land!!!! I have one, here in my house! But mine is only for free Brazilian channels. If I want to watch CNN, BBC, Discovery and other international channels, I have to get a cable TV or another kind of satellite (smaller) and pay monthly fee for the service. In picture #9, on the right, you can see a house where there are many satellites: it's the cable TV headquarters.

Khadija wrote:But how do you manage as the sole muslim ? are people nice?

I miss being in a muslim community, even though I have never been in one! mrgreen Most people don't know I am muslim (I don't wear hijab yet, blush sad blush shame on me), so, only my family and people at work know about my way of life. I haven't got any problem so far Alhamdulillah . People usually ask many questions, they want to know more about Islam and the reason I have converted. They think it's exotic!!!! Subhanallah

That's it girls!!!
