Flowers

This was written inspired by the beautiful Frangipani flower Love

Flowers -

Soft, white,
fragrance light.

Fragile, amazing!
Allah's creation!
colours so bright,
dazzle in light.

Shapes and forms
like jewels adorn.

Natural beauty,
pungent, fruity,
cheering souls,
vases, bowls,

Flowers!

I also did not know about this flower and I really like the first stanza/lines.

(sorry the flower is not white hehe

but your first lines remind me of this)

regarding the first lines, the word 'fragrance' was originally 'fragrant' - slightly different meaning, I wasn't sure which would be better. Confused

I originally read it fragrant but then I realized that it was fragrance. I think that your word choice gave those first lines wonderful impact and sets the tone for the poem Thumbs Up

Mashallah, it is very nice . I thought Frangipani (sounds like Frangipane in French) is some sort of sugar that we put on cakes hehe

I love the flower too but have only seen it in pictures not in real life, I don't know it's fragrance. sad

I think I used to have a screensaver of this flower but the flower wasn't white, it was a nice reddish colour. Do you find it in various colours or only white?
