My baby's cloth book.

I made this cloth book for my baby Sumayyah last week mashaAllah. I used mainly felt and some thin foam here and there, old clothes, beads and some plastic crinkly paper in between the last sheet. Baby loves it mashaAllah!

page 1

pages 2 and 3

pages 4 and 5 (the egg opens out and the chick which is attached to some thread can come out and put back in again, lol)

pages 6 and 7

Close up of the spine with wooden beads

As Salamu alaikum
Masha Allah you brought tears of memories with this book. My Mummy Rahimallullaha used to make such things of cloth for us too.

Alaykum Salam, mashAllah that is even better than the ones in the stores. You should set you up an etsy shop. http://www.etsy.com/
I have never did it but I see all the women mashAllah who are good at stuff like you do it..

Excellent, MashaALLAH

Nice work sis! My two year old is named Sumayyah and I've been meaning to do one of these for so long! Yours is excellent and I doubt mine would look so nice, MashaALLAH. I have no patience for sewing and it shows

Take care,
wa salaam,
