edit/add to images

are you allowed to edit or add something to another image...

e.g you got an plain avatar from somewhere (website) ex.flowers can you add text to that, animate it etc :)


and as far as i know it doesnt say anything about copyright for editing

you have to make sure they are free stock photos. Some people copy right their photos, well most people do. The ones I get are available for free usage though. You can google free stock images and get tons inshAllah..

Insha Allah it's okay to use them as long as there is no copyright or signtures on them.

As Umm Talal mentioned there are loads of of free photos available.
