MashaAllah! A well written enthusiastic poem sister Umm An-Nu'man. It flows really well. I just LOVE the background sister Aisha came up with. Perfect combination of two talents.

Re: Into the Story
Assalaamu'alaikum Sister...i love this poem! I llloooove it! Jazakallahukhairan for sharing it with us. I was fine when reading it until i reached the last few sentences:
" O lover of words, submit to Allah, the Supreme
Bathe your eyes in His words: al-Qur'an al-Karim "
That sentence was powerful, i felt something in my heart...like crying but not sad (really i dont know how to express it in english), thank you so much for reminder.
Sister Umm An-Nu'man, May i put it on my blog and distribute it?

Re: Into the Story
As Salamu Alaikum
Sis Ray in this section we prefer you to post links instead of distributing the sisters works.
Anyway sister Umm An-Nu'man will have the final say.

Re: Into the Story
sisters for the kind and encouraging words.
Perhaps sis Ray, you can do what I did on my site. I put a thumbnail and linked it to easel & ink. Feel free to copy the thumbnail if you want (http://ummannuman.site90.net/). The poem is visable (somewhat on the thumbnail but readers would need to click the thumbnail to read the poem) does that sound okay ? Please let me know what you think
I'm very flattered that you want to put it on your blog sis Ray

Re: Into the Story
Assalaamu'alaikum Sisters,
Jazakallahukhair for the permission
I am really sorry, i thought it is allowed to save the image and put in our blog (ofcourse followed by the name of the poet or the artist). By the way.. i wonder if i did mistake by puting Sister zaza's graphic of gaza on my blog instead of puting the link, pls let me know if i was not suppose to do that
Sisters Umm An-Nu'man, jazakillah, i put on my blog by puting the thumbnail and i added the link on it. I really your poem, and i wish people from my country, whom ever they are who loves to read story book, will read your poem as well , that's why i would like to put on my blog.
One more thing, may i know what does it mean "i'm very flattered" like you mentioned..?
Ray

Re: Into the Story
As Salamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
Sister Ray, sorry I think I may have caused a confusion.
There are some Forums like “The Wonderful Art Garden” where members and non-members alike can freely post graphics on their blogs or share them with friends via email.
The sections “Under The Magnolia Tree” is open to public viewing so we prefer members to post links on their blogs or elsewhere, unless the writer gives her permission then its okay.
Then we have sections which are reserved for members and one cannot copy or distribute from this section like “Under a Shady Oak”
Insha Allah sister Aisha will add to this anything I have omitted.
Regarding my graphic it is okay to post and share and if I remember correctly you did ask.

A unique collection of Quranic Verses and Ahadiths (Prophetic Sayings) in beautiful frames or graphics. They are free for all to copy and distribute, under the conditions that they are not altered in any way and not attributed to anyone except the artist who made them. All the graphics are originals. A link back would be nice. Thank you.

Re: Into the Story
for your care and consideration sis Ray. "I'm very flattered" means that...eek! I just looked it up to give you the most accurate meaning and I realize that it's not what I meant to say (it doesn't have that great a meaning ). What I meant was, I was very happy and felt that it was a wonderful compliment that you wanted to put my poem on your blog. Did I make it more confusing?
